Save Our Post Offices Petition

Brigg and Goole Parliamentary Spokesman Andrew Percy explains, "This government is not doing enough to protect our local Post Offices. I need your support to help me in the fight against our Post Office closures and I hope you will take the time to sign my petition.

Tony Blair's local Labour MP has blamed local people for Post Offices closures. Clearly, this is nonsense, the true blames lies with the government who have not allowed the Post Office the freedoms it needs to diversify and survive.

I/We call upon the government to do more to protect our local Post Offices which are a vital facility to many in our communities.

I/We believe that Post Offices should be provided with greater freedoms to allow them to provide a greater range of products and services and that more should be done to allow Post Offices to become 'one-stop shops' for other public services.
